Prior to co-founding Morrissey Goodale LLC, Mick served as Director of Strategic Growth for PBS&J, one of the nation’s leading EA firms. For a decade before that he developed and led the premier management consulting business serving the AEP & Environmental Consulting industry. Mick speaks regularly on the topics of strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, organization structure and leadership development and transition.
David M. Sullivan, Jr., CPA
David is a partner in the firm’s commercial business group and has approximately 30 years of experience providing audit and advisory services to closely-held and family-owned businesses in a variety of industries. David co-leads DGC’s Architecture & Engineering practice and represents firms across the country. He and his team have advised on over 100 M&A transactions of AE & environmental consulting firms.
George E. Christodoulo
Partner, Lawson & Weitzen, LLP
George E. Christodoulo is a corporate lawyer who has spent over thirty-five years in private practice. He has extensive experience in providing legal services to a/e/c firms on a national basis, with an emphasis on ownership transition, mergers and acquisitions, fiduciary duties of directors, professional licensure and termination of principals. He has completed over 160 transactions among AEC firms in the US and Canada, representing both buyers and sellers.

Managing Director, RPS Group
Eoin Howlett is Director of Strategic Growth at RPS North America spearheading the firm’s M&A activities in the US. RPS Group is a 5000 person, publicly-traded global consulting engineering firm headquartered in the U.K. The firm has grown through multiple global acquisitions including over ten in the U.S. Mr. Howlett oversees organic growth, technology, branding and marketing and leads the corporate acquisitions and integration team and has been responsible for offices in the UK, Brazil, Middle East, China, and Australia. Eoin was President/CEO of Applied Science Associates (ASA) and managed their successful acquisition by the RPS Group in 2011.

Brett is an equity partner of Ames & Gough. Brett specializes in serving the professional liability insurance and risk management needs of design firms across the county. Brett is active in various industry associations and is often asked to speak and write on professional liability insurance and risk management issues. He served and co-chaired the ACECMA Membership Committee for 16 years and currently serves on the ACECNY Legislative Committee and ACECIL Risk Management Committee.
Johnny Johnson, PE
CEO, RailPros, Inc.
Johnny is the CEO of RailPros, an engineering and safety services company dedicated to the railroad industry. Johnny started RailPros, Inc. in partnership with Eric Hankinson in 2000 and has continuously expanded the business. They marketed and sold the company in early 2017 to Bow River Capital Partners in Denver. That partnership continues the aggressive organic and strategic growth pattern and sees a great runway in the future. In January of 2018, RailPros acquired competitor firm Roadway Worker Training, LLC which brought a new geographic hub as well as a training division to the RailPros platform. RailPros is in acquisition mode and is actively looking for new businesses to acquire.
Managing Partner, Keystone Capital
Scott co-founded Keystone Capital in 1994, serving as the CFO of the firm’s first portfolio company, Record Masters, from its founding through to its sale to Iron Mountain in 1997. Keystone Capital is a high-profile and very successful investor in the AEC industry. Keystone is building a premier national transportation firm with its Target Engineering business which has grown through strategic acquisitions. Keystone is also creating a leading national innovative healthcare design practice with Environments for Health Architecture (E4H) which has also grown through multiple key acquisitions. Prior to Keystone, Scott was a member of the investment banking and corporate finance department at Kidder, Peabody & Company where he was actively involved initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations. He also worked for Madison Dearborn Partners, Inc, a leading Chicago private equity firm.
Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, Terracon
Gayle joined Terracon in 2004 and was named the director of corporate services in 2008. In addition to managing the corporate services office, she facilitates Terracon’s acquisition program. Since 2005, Gayle has coordinated the acquisition and integration of over 40 companies with 100 new offices added to Terracon. Gayle is a member of the Executive Committee and also serves on the Board of Directors.
Executive Vice President, General Counsel, CHA Consulting, Inc.
Michael has more than 20 years of experience at CHA and since 2000 has been actively involved in mergers and acquisitions including both buy side and sell side transactions. In 2008, he managed a recapitalization of the firm with private equity firm Long Point Capital. Michael also managed the sale of CHA’s Middle East operations in 2012 and its wastewater operations in 2015. Since 2012, he has guided CHA through six acquisitions doubling the size of the firm to nearly $300 million in revenue and more than 1,000 employees.

Eddie has spent the past 20 years focused on systems development, implementation and integration. Eddie joined BST Global in 2006 and has helped define BST’s project delivery methods focusing on efficient and predictable results for software implementation and system integration projects. In addition to Eddie’s project delivery oversight and leadership responsibilities, he often acts as a direct project manager on system and data integration projects supporting the success of corporate mergers for both acquired and acquiring firms.
Cathy Simon, FAIA, LEED AP
Owner Cathy Simon, FAIA Architecture and Urbanism
Cathy’s 48-year career has focused on transformative design at all scales. She is best known professionally for her adaptive reuse and urban design projects, many of which are in the Bay area. Cathy was one of five founding partners of the influential pioneering female-owned firm SMWM (Simon Martin-Vegue Winkelstein Moris), based in San Francisco. She and Martin-Vengue spent more than 18 years “building one of the nations largest women-owned firms.” In 2008, Cathy and her partners sold SMWM to Perkins + Will.

Mark is a co-founder of Morrissey Goodale. His breadth of experience includes strategic planning, Lean operational strategies, mergers & acquisitions, marketing, and executive search. He is a trusted advisor and coach to dozens of industry executives. Before helping to establish Morrissey Goodale, Mark was the Corporate Strategic Marketing Manager at PBS&J (now a part of Atkins) where he was charged with improving and implementing progressive corporate initiatives geared to position the firm for successful, large-scale client pursuits.

Jeff leads strategy and M&A engagements forNorth American and overseas clients. He has over 30 years’ experience in sales and operations within the consulting engineering and construction industry. Prior to joining Morrissey Goodale, Jeff was Director of Strategic Growth and Development for KCI Technologies (ENR # 77). He was responsible for firm-wide strategic growth initiatives, including long range and annual corporate, business unit and regional business planning. He also oversaw the firm’s M&A program.
